The 68th Annual Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival is set for February 14 – 23, 2014!
The amazing Southern California weather, exciting ground acts, delicious Fair food and notable concert performances were contributing factors to another successful year. Attendance at the 67th annual Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival reached 282,334 in 2013. The Grandstand Arena played host to many exciting shows, such as Monster Trucks, Demolition Derby, Bull-O –Rama and Fiesta Del Charro. The Camel and Ostrich races, a longstanding tradition and family favorite, were back to delight audiences for another year. Quality entertainment and reasonable admission prices drew families from around Southern California that came to enjoy everything the Fair has to offer – from farm animals to exhibits to the engaging Nightly Musical Pageant. Included in the price of admission were memorable performances by Lifehouse, Wynonna & The Big Noise, Aaron Lewis and Voz De Mando, who had the crowds singing along and dancing in the aisles!
Presenting sponsor, Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, helped lead the way in making the Fair affordable this year with Fantasy $5 Friday. Another sponsor that followed suit was O’Reilly Auto Parts who made it possible for attendees to enjoy the Fair for free on Thursday with proof of purchase from one their stores.

NEW QUEEN SCHEHERAZADE CROWNED
New court to reign as ambassadors of Fair
Indio, CA – On Saturday evening, November 23, 2013, the Riverside County Fair National Date Festival held the Queen Scheherazade Scholarship Pageant at the Fairgrounds in Indio. The Fullenwider Auditorium was transformed into a scene out of the 1001 Arabian Nights, as three young women were chosen to represent the Fair as the Queen and her Court.
